Bright purple.  Pungent floral notes lift raspberry, cherry and anise aromas.  Alluringly sappy and sweet but with tangy minerality adding cut and definition to bitter cherry and red berry flavors.  Spicy, vibrant and long on the taut finish, with the anise and cherry notes repeating.  I can’t wait to see how the big boys from this excellent producer turn out when they’re released later this year.   (Louis/Dressner Selections, New York, NY)
