90 Points | International Wine Cellar , September/October 2010

(roughly 60% sangiovese, the rest merlot, cabernet sauvignon and syrah) Good full red. Explosively fruity nose is redolent of red and black fruits, plum jam, vanilla and cinnamon. Enters fresh, juicy and sweet, displaying an exuberantly fresh, fruity appeal to its red berry, blackcurrant and red cherry flavors. Finishes with youthfully chewy tannins and very good length. This lightly alcoholic fruit cocktail of a wine could be served slightly chilled. Lipsmackingly delicious and hard to put down: I give this 90 points for its sheer pleasure factor. This is essentially the first vintage of this wine, made from vineyards owned by the adjacent Lorella Ambrosini estate, on which Tua Rita now has a long-term rental contract. That's why this wine (and the Sansira) are bottled under a different label.
