($15) Palish medium red. Subtle aromas of cherry and spices with hints of meat and earth. Supple, round and quite ripe but retains its shape and maintains a light touch. Not particularly complex but distinctly likeable wine and an excellent pinot value, with good depth of fruit and a spicy sweetness on the back end.
