($63) Good deep, bright red. Pungent aromas of raspberry, strawberry, sandalwood and peppery spices. Then dry and light on its feet, with youthfully restrained red fruit and spice flavors. There are some very ripe notes here as well as a peppery quality. Finishes with dusty tannins and excellent energy. I'd hold off on drinking this for at least a year. This says 14.5% alcohol on the label but I never would have guessed it.
