Pale yellow.  Classic Marlborough sauvignon aromas of grapefruit pith, lemon, anise and green pepper.  Then pliant and rich in the mouth, with a touch of sweetness to its flavors of gooseberry, pepper and herbs.  The substantial finish closes with a piquant edge of grapefruit zest but an overall impression of richness and ripeness.
