($27; 80% tempranillo, with garnacha, graciano and mazuelo) Bright ruby. An expansive, oak-spicy bouquet of candied cherry, vanilla and coconut is lifted by an intense floral character. Very rich and broad, offering sweet cherry-vanilla and blackberry flavors and a strong note of clove. Impressive for its depth of fruit but needs some time to suck up the powerful oak, which the wine's track record says will happen.
