90 Points | International Wine Cellar , September/October 2012

(made from a blend of tempranillo, garnacha and graciano):  Vivid ruby-red.  Sexy, high-toned aromas of candied red fruits, vanilla and pipe tobacco, with smoke and mocha nuances.  Smooth, seamless and light on its feet, offering vibrant raspberry and cherry flavors and a hint of spicecake.  The vanilla quality comes back on the finish, which is given shape by gentle, fine-grained tannins.  Approachable now, but this wine has the balance to reward at least mid-term patience.
