93(+?) Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2010

($150) Inky purple. Deeper and more brooding on the nose than the Ines, with scents of blackberry, blueberry and licorice. Dark fruit compote and bitter cherry flavors stain the palate and become chewier with air. Dusty tannins add grip to the impressively long, sweet, focused finish. As this sat in the glass exotic spice and floral notes slowly emerged, suggesting that it will repay cellaring. (Ole Imports, New Rochelle NY)
