90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2011

Vivid ruby.  Blackberry and dark cherry aromas are complemented by notes of tobacco and licorice.  Juicy, nicely concentrated dark fruit flavors are lifted by tangy acidity and pick up smokiness with air.  Shows very good clarity on the gently tannic, spicy finish, with the cherry note echoing.  This will reward at least another couple years of patience.
