Medium green-yellow. M ultifaceted bouquet fascinates with pineapple, papaya, smoky minerals, black pepper and orange zest. A sweet core of plum fruit is wrapped in a veil of pepper, cardamom and orange. Big in body and carrying considerable alcoholic clout, but this wine has the depth and intensity of flavor to carry it off. "M" stands for "monumental," which is an apt name for this wine. Should benefit from further bottle maturation. Drink 2014 to 2024.
