96 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - April 2011

Medium green-yellow. A superb bouquet reveals layers of Golden Delicious apple, cantaloupe, tobacco, anise, black pepper and wet slate. Mounts in intensity in the mouth, where sweetly apple and melon fruit and full satiny body are gracefully by vibrant, fully integrated acidity. The palate-staining finish lingers for literally minutes with abundant fruit, minerals and spices. This extraordinary wine will continue to gain in complexity for the next five years and should hold well until 2024.
