($27) Deep red. Spicecake, raspberry and flowers on the nose. Sweet red and dark berry flavors are lifted by a zesty, peppery quality, complemented by a note of bitter chocolate. Tannins arrive late and add shape to a long, herb-accented finish. This drinks very well now, with a little air.
