($60; 75% cabernet sauvignon, 13% cabernet franc, 8% petit verdot and 4% merlot) Good bright medium ruby. Pure aromas of blackberry, blueberry, minerals, wild herbs, cocoa powder and violet. Suave, lush and seamless, with integrated acidity giving shape to the palate-staining flavors of black and blue fruits, licorice and flowers. This very young, ripe wine boasts a silky texture and a very long, suavely tannic finish. Remarkably, these vines were planted in 2004.
