($35; all Ciel du Cheval fruit) Bright yellow. Honey, ginger, quinine and an element of leesy complexity on the nose. Then dense, tactile and sappy in the mouth, with a fresh apricot flavor complicated by gingery spice. Really explodes on the long finish but retains its brisk quality. These two Doyenne whites are superb.
