(a Bordeaux blend based on 55% merlot):  Good full red-ruby.  Aromas of plum, mocha, cocoa powder and graphite, lifted by a floral element.  Sweet and deep, with strong floral and spice qualities adding piquancy to the lush, smooth palate.  This distinctly claret-like wine spreads out impressively on the back end, finishing with sweet, fine-grained tannins and excellent length.
