(61% syrah, 34% cabernet sauvignon, 4% mourvedre and 1% cinsaut):  Red-ruby.  Expressive, perfumed nose offers raspberry, licorice pastille, peppery spices, bitter chocolate and a whiff of meat.  Juicy, sweet and aromatic; not big but silky and nicely balanced, with suave flavors of dark berries, menthol and wild herbs.  Finishes with a fine dusting of tannins and a restrained sweetness.  A classy blend.
