92 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2010

($70; 100% chardonnay; disgorged July, 2010) Greenish yellow. Highly fragrant, expansive bouquet of fresh pear, ginger, anise and lemongrass, with hints of fresh sage and jasmine. Dry and precise on the palate, offering lively orchard fruit and orange flavors complemented by licorice and chalky minerals. Showing a lot of complexity already but this minerally Champagne will reward patience.
