($28; 60% garnatxa, with merlot, cabernet sauvignon and syrah) Bright ruby. Fresh red fruit and floral aromas are given depth by suggestions of licorice and black cardamom. Spicy, sweet and incisive, with very good clarity and a snap of minerality. Open-knit and very attractive, with strong finishing cut and a lingering note of raspberry. There's a light touch to this wine that reminds me of pinot noir.
