88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2010

($12; aged in new to three-year-old French barriques Bright purple. A fragrant bouquet displays scents of redcurrant, cherry pit, tobacco and dried flowers. Smells and tastes like textbook cabernet, with flavors similar to the nose. Precise and nervy, with expansive red fruit character on the sappy finish. This wine puts to shame plenty of American cabs that sell for triple the price or more. This wine was aged in French barrels ranging from new to three years old. (Fine Estates from Spain, Dedham, MA)
