About Au Bon Climat
Since it was founded in 1982, Au Bon Climat has been a well respected producer of Burgundian-styled California wines. Jim Clendenen's Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs are mineral, focused and restrained in the early going, and sometimes quite oaky.

($25) Pale gold. Reticent aromas of citrus peel, melon and spices. Fresh and tactile, with lively tension to the white peach, honeydew, mineral and light spice flavors; very subtle use of oak here. The tangy finish is scented, floral and nicely persistent.
