($52) Good medium red. Complex nose melds ripe black cherry, black tea, cinnamon and meat. Then dry, penetrating and serious, with lovely lift to the brisk flavors of ripe cherry, red berries and spices. Juicy, firmly structured Alsace pinot noir with a solid tannic spine, very good cut and sneaky length. I'd like to see what this turns into in five years.
