Light green-gold.  Smoky, leesy aromas of orange zest, pear, spices and minerals.  Dense and tactile but lithe, offering penetrating flavors of citrus and orchard fruits, anise and iodine.  Very suave chardonnay, combining energy with depth on the smoky, persistent finish.  This outstanding chardonnay value could pass for a traditional wine from Chassagne-Montrachet.
