90 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2013

Moderate saturated bright medium red.  Aromas of sour red cherry, red berries, licorice and graphite, with some apparent oakiness.  Then sweet and silky in the mouth, with nicely concentrated, varietally typical red fruit and floral flavors.  Offers good breadth and texture without any excess weight thanks to nicely integrated acidity.  Finishes with dusty tannins, lingering red berry flavors and a light touch.  A superb value.  (ST)
