2009 Domaine Lafond Cotes de Rhone "Roc-Epine" This is a perfect winter red with from the south of France made from 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah. Medium deep purple, lovely aromas of black fruits and spices, followed on the palate by solid, rich and mouthfilling and supple fruit. Drink now and over the next 1-2 years with anything from nachos while watching the playoffs to roasted chicken, duck,loin of pork or hearty stew or cassoulet. Region: Rhone, France Grapes: Grenache and Syrah Drink: Now - 2014 Cuisine: Roast Chicken, Duck, Pork & Stews ABV: 13.5%
