($30) Bright ruby-red. Complex aromas of blackberry, plum, currant, bitter chocolate and licorice, lifted by a peppery nuance. Juicy, ripe and sweet; plush but not at all exaggerated or overly sweet, with harmonious acidity and violet perfume contributing to the impression of clarity and lift. The very long, classically dry finish features sweet tannins and a cool note of menthol.
