Vivid gold.  Ripe pear and melon aromas show a smoky quality and a hint of licorice.  Rich and deeply pitched, offering powerful orchard fruit flavors and a hint of warmth.  This creamy, plush wine could use more energy but provides a wallop of hefty fruit.
