($27; 70% grenache and 10% each of syrah, mourvedre and cinsault) Bright purple. Dark berry and plum aromas, with hints of woodsmoke and anise. Sweet dark fruit flavors are on the warm side, showing a touch of singed plum accompanied by gentle smokiness and candied flowers. The plummy note repeats on the persistent, firm, slightly loose-knit finish.
