(65% grenache, 20% syrah, 10% mourvedre and 5% cinsault):  Deep ruby.  Red fruits, dried flowers and herbs on the fragrant nose.  The palate displays nicely concentrated redcurrant and cherry flavors and a hint of candied lavender.  Closes down with air and finishes on a slightly bitter note, with solid tannic grip and lingering smokiness.
