The first time we've ever had a wine from this area in fact, we still don't know how to pronounce it. But who cares, it tastes fantastic. So we just refer to it as the "new good stuff."

Got the case late in the afternoon. Immediately popped a cork and decanted. 20 minutes later poured a taste into a Reidel, swirled, then inhaled deeply and took my first taste. Wow! A fantastic bouquet. Rich, complex flavors (raspberry and chocolate with a hint of oak and vanilla). My wife and I savored the rest of the bottle over dinner. A fantastic purchase. Now one of my favorite reds!

My roommate makes wonderful lamb chops that marinate for three days in Spanish olive oil, rosemary ground thyme, garlic, salt and pepper then seared on the grill for a few minutes. The Font Clos was a flawless match. Smoky flavors meshed well with the charred lamb. And I only ordered 4 bottles.(:
