(85% grenache and 15% syrah):  Dark purple.  Aromas of dark berry preserves, licorice and cola, with a minty topnote.  Juicy and seamless, with good clarity to its black raspberry and spice flavors.  Gentle tannins add shape and grip to the focused, spicy finish.
