Light yellow-gold.  Expressive, complex aromas of pear skin, nectarine, fennel and toasted nuts.  Supple, palate-coating orchard fruit and melon flavors pick up a smoky quality with air, along with subtle herbacity.  The fennel note repeats on the finish, which lingers with gentle sweetness and very good persistence.
