(85% grenache, 10% mourvedre and 5% clairette):  Bright ruby.  Vibrant, high-pitched aromas of cherry, redcurrant, minerals, garrigue and black olive.  Fresh and bright in the mouth, with a sappy sweetness to its red fruit and floral pastille flavors.  Brisk acidity and a firm mineral underpinning give this wine very good clarity and finishing lift.  This wine seems to have actually become racier since I saw it last year.  Incidentally, the 2008 version is open for business, showing suave floral and spice character and very good energy.
