(60% grenache, 30% syrah and 10% mourvedre):  Deep ruby.  Exotically perfumed bouquet evokes red and dark berry preserves, potpourri and star anise, with subtle smokiness in the background.  Juicy, precise black raspberry and cherry flavors are complemented by a candied licorice quality. Seamless, open-knit wine with excellent finishing clarity and length.
