Bright ruby.  Cherry and dark berries on the nose, with smoke, licorice and cola nuances adding complexity.  Oak-spiced blackberry and cherry-cola flavors show very good depth and intensity, with gentle acidity adding lift.  More serious than the Janus and in need of more patience; the finish is long, gripping and attractively sweet.
