Rich golden yellow. Sublime aromas of candied citrus fruits, lemon oil and acacia honey on a bed of smoky botrytis. The succulent weight of papaya fruit is virtually levitated by understated minerality on the palate. The f ine balance of creamy fruit and herbal spices lingers tantalizingly on the endless finish. Nearly perfect, this is one of the great wines of the vintage.
