($75) Pale gold. Orange and lime aromas are complemented by deeper pit fruit and honey qualities. Fleshy and smooth but very energetic as well, offering lively pear and orange zest flavors and nuances of violet and anise. Shows smoky, spicy qualities on the long, sappy, mineral-accented finish. Rostaing says this wine deserves patience or should be decanted if you're drinking it any time soon.
