Vivid ruby.  Aromas of raspberry preserves and cherry, with anise and garrigue accents adding complexity.  Juicy and well-focused, offering nicely concentrated red fruit flavors and a late note of candied lavender.  Supple tannins lend shape to a long, spice- and smoke-accented finish, which echoes the cherry note.
