($80) Saturated deep ruby. Superripe aromas of currant and truffle complicated by truffley underbrush. Fat and sweet, then large-scaled, lush and stuffed with blackberry and chocolatey oak in the middle. In a very ripe style and drinkable already, but has plenty of ripe tannins for some aging. The chocolatey oak component carries through on the finish. This could be a meal substitute.
