90(+?)? Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - March/April 2011

(a blend of chenin blanc, roussanne, grenache blanc, viognier, verdelho and chardonnay):  Medium yellow.  Reduced, musky nose offers apple, smoky lees and a chalky note.  Rich and spicy but not yet filled in, with a slight warmth to the flavors of pit fruits, toast and smoky lees.  Sweet citrus fruits give a tangy quality to the persistent finish, but this wine needs time to harmonize.
