($22) Good medium red. Cool aromas of crushed blackberry, mint and oak. The middle palate shows a bit more density and violety, minty lift than the Gran Reserva Malbec but this wine nonetheless comes across as a bit brutal today in spite of its depth. Finishes with dry, dusty tannins and a lightly saline aspect.
