Full red-ruby.  Subdued but thoroughly ripe aromas of blueberry, bitter chocolate, coffee, minerals, nuts and wild herbs.  Vinous and energetic, with a deeply sappy quality to the crushed berry, spice and saline flavors.  Finishes with chewy tannins and excellent length; this really saturates the mouth without leaving any impression of weight.  With its firm spine, this excellent syrah calls for patience.
