(80% shiraz, 10% mourvedre, 7% cinsault and 3% grenache):  Bright, deep red-ruby.  Enticing aromas of blackberry, raspberry, pepper, black olive and game.  Supple, lush and broad but with a light touch and a restrained sweetness to the flavors of raspberry and smoke.  Fine-grained, classically dry wine with lovely tension and subtle spice character.  Spreads out nicely on the supple back end.  A bit Cote-Rotie-like.
