Bright ruby-red. A complex bouquet offers raspberry, cherry compote, potpourri and spice cake. Deeper, darker fruits on the palate, along with suave notes of rose pastille and herbs. Becomes livelier with air, picking up fine-grained tannins that add shape and grip to a long, nervy finish. I like this wine's energy.
