Bright, dark red. Spicy black cherry, licorice and menthol on the nose, lifted by a floral topnote. Lush and pliant in the mouth, with a nicely restrained sweetness and good energy to the tasty berry and black cherry fruit. The sweetly tannic, tongue-dusting finish offers impressive length considering this grenache-based wine's very gentle price.
Thick wonderful Rhone. You are not drinking anything but Rhone here - and this Domaine my favorite Rhone - it's been my house wine for almost 10 years - and it stands up GREAT over time. Not to be missed was this spectacular offering - a "REAL RHONE" for less than 15 bucks is impossible to find!
Cotes du Rhone Treasure
My wife and I both love this wine. The description at Wine Access is very accurate. I'm a Rhone fan, and this one is excellent.
great easy drinking wine
I'd like to keep it and see what happens

Nice and light, a refreshing effort
Great everyday Rhone
A go to everyday bottle, simple and well made. Very enjoyable.
Very middle of the road wine. Good to have hanging around at home.
A good one
We enjoyed this Rhone. It paired up well with grilled chicken and vegetables. While it was a good wine we've had better at a lower price.
Overall pleasant but think the finish is a little rough.
2009 Domaine Jaume Cotes du Rhone
Still young. Hopefully will open up with a year or two in the cellar.
Not a syrah, not a Cote du Rhone, just a plain red wine with no character.
