Deep straw-gold. Initially re ticent nose of dates, honeyed peach and saffron opens with air to reveal good aromatic depth and intensity. Then sweet, smooth and dense in the mouth, with ripe, rich tropical fruit and honeyed flavors buoyed by lively acidity that extends the flavors at the back. Very impressive Angialis, fresher and purer than some recent overly sweet, ponderous vintages.
