Good bright ruby. Musky red berry and cherry aromas are complemented by dried flowers, bay leaf and marjoram. Clean, fresh red fruit flavors are nicely braced by gentle acidity. The tannins turn peppery on the smooth, long finish, which features a lingering red cherry presence. This delicious midweight currently lacks the complexity for an outstanding score, but may well develop it with a little bottle age. Very well made and nicely balanced.
