Saturated ruby to the rim. Bright, complex aromas of blackberry, minerals, crushed rock, fruitcake and violet. Densely packed and impressively concentrated, with a solid spine of acids and tannins framing the black fruit, violet and bitter chocolate flavors and restraining the wine's sweetness. Finishes with suave tannins and lovely violet lift. Nicely balanced and long on personality.
