($24) Pale gold. Lively aromas of candied lemon, orange and green apple, augmented by subtle smokiness and a touch of anise in the background. Dry and mineral-driven on entry, then juicier in the mid-palate, offering zesty citrus flavors and a deeper melon note on the back half. Melds energy with power smoothly and finishes with very good clarity and tangy cut.
