About Beckmen Vineyards

When winemaker Steve Beckmen returned from Italy in 1997, he was convinced that his family's recently purchased hillside in Santa Barbara County would be perfect for growing Rhône varietals. His father Tom was skeptical, but since then, Purisima Mountain Vineyard has established itself as one of the finest sources of Syrah and Grenache in the Central Coast.

Its been a while since we had rose. This one was very nice. The case was gone in a heartbeat....and now its sold out I believe.

A very nice Grenache. Impressed with the quality for a U.S. grown wine. Went to france this summer and became a even bigger fan of GSM. This one makes the grade.
