Bright ruby-red. Aromas of cassis, plum, mocha, menthol, licorice and fresh herbs suggest a wide range of ripeness. Subtly sweet and supple in the mouth, with good herbal lift and intensity to the currant, chocolate and licorice flavors. Finishes with rather serious tannins that turned a bit dry with air.

Hard to believe Parker rated this a 94. Not at all complex or outstanding. Good, solid Cab, but not exceptional and certainly not worth $40 a bottle. I've had many $30 bottles that were better. Good aroma and fruit, but very short finish with no lingering values.
